Refund policy
Last updated 2026-10-03
This page says when we refund a payment and when we do not. It restates the Terms of Service (§9, §9a and §11) in one place. If the two ever differ, the Terms apply.
Cancelling a plan
Paid plans are monthly and renew until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from Plan & Billing. Your plan then runs to the end of the month you paid for and stops, and it does not renew. Hours you use beyond your plan before it stops are still billed, as they would have been (§9).
What we do not refund
- The unused part of a month, after you cancel or stop using Contraverse.
- Hours of debate or comments in your plan that you did not use.
- A plan we ended because the account broke the rules in the Terms (§5 and §11).
What we refund
- A billing mistake, in full. For example, you were charged twice, or charged after you cancelled.
- A paid feature we discontinue. If we remove a paid feature you rely on, we refund the unused part of your current month.
- Anything the law gives you. Some countries give buyers a right to a refund, such as a cooling-off period. Where the law where you live gives you that right, we honour it.
Upgrades and extra hours
If you move to a higher plan in the middle of a month, you pay only for the part of the month that is left. On a plan with an overage rate, hours past the plan's limit are added to your next invoice at the rate shown when you bought the plan. Those hours were used, so they are not refunded unless they were billed by mistake.
How to ask for a refund
Email support@axioms.gg from the address on your account. Tell us your handle, the date of the charge and what went wrong. We reply as soon as we can.
A refund goes back to the card you paid with, through our payment processor, Stripe. Your bank may take several working days to show it.
